General Note

Based on Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the data protection provisions of the Federal Act (Data Protection Act, DPA), every person has the right to protection of their privacy and protection against misuse of their personal data. The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the legal data protection regulations as well as this privacy policy.

In cooperation with our hosting providers, we strive to protect the databases as best as possible against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or forgery.

We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating via email) may have security gaps. A complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.

By using this website, you agree to the collection, processing and use of data in accordance with the following description. This website can generally be visited without registration. In the process, data such as the pages accessed or the names of the retrieved files, date and time are stored on the server for statistical purposes, without this data being directly related to you. Personal data, in particular name, address or email address, is collected on a voluntary basis as far as possible. Without your consent, there will be no transfer of data to third parties.

Processing of personal data

Personal data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable person. A data subject is a person whose personal data is processed. Processing includes any handling of personal data, regardless of the means and procedures used, in particular the storage, disclosure, acquisition, deletion, retention, alteration, destruction and use of personal data.

We process personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection law. Furthermore, we process – to the extent and insofar as the EU GDPR is applicable – personal data in accordance with the following legal bases in connection with Art. 6 para. 1 GDPR:

  • Consent (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a. GDPR) - The data subject has given their consent to the processing of their personal data for a specific purpose or purposes.
  • Contract fulfilment and pre-contractual inquiries (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b. GDPR) - The processing is necessary for the fulfilment of a contract to which the data subject is a party, or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject.
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c GDPR) - The processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject.
  • Protection of vital interests (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. d GDPR) - The processing is necessary to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person.
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR) - The processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data.
  • Application procedure as a pre-contractual or contractual relationship (Art. 9 para. 2 lit. b GDPR) - Insofar as special categories of personal data within the meaning of Art. 9 para. 1 GDPR (e.g. health data, such as disability status or ethnic origin) are requested from applicants in the context of the application process, so that the controller or the data subject can exercise the rights arising from employment law and social security and social protection law and fulfil their related obligations, their processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 9 para. 2 lit. b. GDPR, in the case of protecting vital interests of the applicants or other persons according to Art. 9 para. 2 lit. c. GDPR or for the purposes of health care or occupational medicine, for assessing the employee's ability to work, for medical diagnostics, care or treatment in the health or social sector, or for the management of systems and services in the health or social sector according to Art. 9 para. 2 lit. h. GDPR. In the case of communication of special categories of data based on voluntary consent, their processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 9 para. 2 lit. a. GDPR.

We process personal data for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose or purposes. In the case of longer retention obligations due to legal and other obligations to which we are subject, we restrict the processing accordingly.

Relevant legal bases

In accordance with Art. 13 GDPR, we inform you of the legal bases for our data processing. If the legal basis is not mentioned in the privacy policy, the following applies: The legal basis for obtaining consent is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a and Art. 7 GDPR, the legal basis for processing to fulfil our services and carry out contractual measures as well as to respond to inquiries is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, the legal basis for processing to fulfil our legal obligations is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR, and the legal basis for processing to safeguard our legitimate interests is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. In the event that vital interests of the data subject or another natural person make the processing of personal data necessary, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. d GDPR serves as the legal basis.

Security measures

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures in accordance with legal requirements, taking into account the state of the art, implementation costs, and the nature, scope, circumstances, and purposes of the processing, as well as the varying probabilities of occurrence and the extent of the threat to the rights and freedoms of natural persons, to ensure a level of protection appropriate to the risk.

The measures include in particular the safeguarding of the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data by controlling physical and electronic access to the data as well as the access, input, transfer, safeguarding of availability and separation of the data concerned. Furthermore, we have established procedures that ensure the exercise of data subject rights, the deletion of data and responses to data breaches. Moreover, we take into account the protection of personal data already during the development or selection of hardware, software and procedures in accordance with the principle of data protection, through technical design and through data protection-friendly default settings.

Transmission of personal data

As part of our processing of personal data, it may occur that the data is transmitted to other entities, companies, legally independent organisational units or individuals or disclosed to them. Recipients of this data may include, for example, service providers tasked with IT duties or providers of services and content that are integrated into a website. In such cases, we comply with the legal requirements and particularly conclude corresponding contracts or agreements that serve to protect your data with the recipients of your data.

Data processing in third countries

If we process data in a third country (i.e., outside the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA)) or if the processing takes place in the context of using services from third parties or the disclosure or transmission of data to other individuals, entities or companies, this is done only in accordance with the legal requirements.

Subject to explicit consent or contractual or legal transmission requirements, we only process data in third countries with an acknowledged level of data protection, contractual obligation through so-called standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission, in the presence of certifications or binding internal data protection regulations (Art. 44 to 49 GDPR, information page of the EU Commission: https://ec.europa.eu/info/law/law-topic/data-protection/international-dimension-data-protection_de).

Privacy Policy for Cookies

This website uses cookies. Cookies are text files that contain data from visited websites or domains and are stored by a browser on the user's computer. A cookie primarily serves to store information about a user during or after their visit within an online offering. The stored information may include, for example, language settings on a webpage, login status, a shopping cart, or the point at which a video was watched. We also include other technologies that perform the same functions as cookies in the term cookies (e.g. when user information is stored using pseudonymous online identifiers, also referred to as "user IDs").

The following types of cookies and functions are distinguished:

Temporary cookies (also: session cookies): Temporary cookies are deleted at the latest after a user has left an online offering and closed their browser.

Permanent cookies: Permanent cookies remain stored even after the browser is closed. For example, the login status can be saved or preferred content can be displayed directly when the user visits a website again. Similarly, the interests of users, which are used for reach measurement or marketing purposes, can be stored in such a cookie.

  • First-party cookies: First-party cookies are set by us.
  • Third-party cookies (also: third-party cookies): Third-party cookies are mainly used by advertisers (so-called third parties) to process user information.
  • Necessary (also: essential or strictly necessary) cookies: Cookies may be absolutely necessary for the operation of a website (e.g. to store logins or other user inputs or for security reasons).
  • Statistics, marketing, and personalisation cookies: Furthermore, cookies are usually also used for reach measurement and when the interests of a user or their behaviour (e.g. viewing certain content, using functions, etc.) are stored in a user profile on individual websites. Such profiles are used to display content to users that corresponds to their potential interests. This process is also referred to as "tracking", i.e., tracking the potential interests of users. To the extent that we use cookies or "tracking" technologies, we will inform you separately in our privacy policy or in the context of obtaining consent.

Notes on legal bases: The legal basis on which we process your personal data using cookies depends on whether we ask for your consent. If this is the case and you consent to the use of cookies, the legal basis for processing your data is the declared consent. Otherwise, the data processed using cookies will be processed on the basis of our legitimate interests (e.g. in the economic operation of our online offering and its improvement) or, if the use of cookies is necessary to fulfil our contractual obligations.

Storage duration: Unless we provide you with explicit information about the storage duration of permanent cookies (e.g. as part of a so-called cookie opt-in), please assume that the storage duration may be up to two years.

General notes on revocation and objection (opt-out): Depending on whether the processing is based on consent or legal permission, you have the right to revoke any given consent at any time or to object to the processing of your data by cookie technologies (collectively referred to as "opt-out"). You can initially declare your objection using your browser settings, e.g. by disabling the use of cookies (which may also limit the functionality of our online offering). An objection to the use of cookies for online marketing purposes can also be made through a variety of services, especially in the case of tracking, via the websites https://optout.aboutads.info and https://www.youronlinechoices.com/. Additionally, you can receive further objection notices as part of the information on the service providers and cookies used.

Processing of cookie data based on consent: We use a procedure for cookie consent management, within which the consents of users for the use of cookies, or the processing and providers mentioned in the cookie consent management procedure, can be obtained, managed, and revoked by the users. In this context, the consent declaration is stored to avoid having to repeat the query and to be able to prove the consent in accordance with legal obligations. The storage can take place server-side and/or in a cookie (so-called opt-in cookie, or using comparable technologies) to be able to assign the consent to a user or their device. Subject to individual information about the providers of cookie management services, the following notes apply: The duration of storage of the consent can be up to two years. In this case, a pseudonymous user identifier is created and stored with the time of consent, information on the scope of consent (e.g. which categories of cookies and/or service providers) as well as the browser, system, and device used.

  • Processed data types: Usage data (e.g. visited websites, interest in content, access times), meta/communication data (e.g. device information, IP addresses).
  • Affected persons: Users (e.g. website visitors, users of online services).
  • Legal bases: Consent (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR), legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR).

Use of Google Maps

This website uses the services of Google Maps. This allows us to display interactive maps directly on the website and enables you to comfortably use the map function. By visiting the website, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. This occurs regardless of whether Google provides a user account that you are logged into or whether no user account exists. If you are logged into Google, your data will be directly associated with your account. If you do not wish for the association with your Google profile, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data as usage profiles and uses it for advertising purposes, market research, and/or tailored design of its website. Google Ads

This website uses Google Conversion Tracking. If you arrived at our website via an advertisement placed by Google, a cookie will be set on your computer by Google Ads. The cookie for conversion tracking is set when a user clicks on an advertisement placed by Google. These cookies expire after 30 days and do not serve for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognise that the user clicked on the advertisement and was redirected to this page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be tracked across the websites of Ads customers. The information obtained through the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Ads customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their advertisement and were redirected to a page marked with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that would allow for personal identification of users.

If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can refuse the necessary setting of a cookie – for example, by browser settings that generally disable the automatic setting of cookies or by configuring your browser to block cookies from the domain "googleleadservices.com".

Please note that you must not delete the opt-out cookies as long as you do not wish to record measurement data. If you have deleted all your cookies in the browser, you will need to set the respective opt-out cookie again.

Use of Google Remarketing

This website uses the remarketing feature of Google Inc. The feature is designed to present interest-based advertisements to website visitors within the Google advertising network. A so-called "cookie" is stored in the visitor's browser, which allows the visitor to be recognised when they visit websites that belong to the Google advertising network. On these pages, advertisements may be presented to the visitor that relate to content the visitor has previously accessed on websites that use Google's remarketing feature.

According to its own statements, Google does not collect any personal data in this process. If you do not wish to use Google's remarketing feature, you can generally disable it by making the appropriate settings under http://www.google.com/settings/ads . Alternatively, you can disable the use of cookies for interest-based advertising through the Network Advertising Initiative by following the instructions under http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp .

Use of Google reCAPTCHA

We use «Google reCAPTCHA» (hereinafter «reCAPTCHA») on our websites. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter «Google». With reCAPTCHA, it is intended to verify whether the data entry on our websites (e.g. in a contact form) is carried out by a human or by an automated program. To this end, reCAPTCHA analyses the behaviour of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis begins automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, duration of the website visitor's stay on the website, or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google. The reCAPTCHA analyses run completely in the background. Website visitors are not informed that an analysis is taking place.

The data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web offerings from abusive automated spying and from SPAM. Further information on Google reCAPTCHA and Google's privacy policy can be found at the following links: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/ and https://policies.google.com/terms?hl=de.

Privacy Policy for Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Ireland Limited. If the data controller for this website is located outside the European Economic Area or Switzerland, then the Google Analytics data processing is carried out by Google LLC. Google LLC and Google Ireland Limited are hereinafter referred to as «Google».

Through the statistics obtained, we can improve our offerings and make them more interesting for you as a user. This website also uses Google Analytics for cross-device analysis of visitor flows, which is conducted via a user ID. If you have a Google account, you can disable the cross-device analysis of your usage in the settings under "My Data", "Personal Data".

The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google. We would like to point out that Google Analytics on this website has been extended by the code "_anonymizeIp();" to ensure anonymised collection of IP addresses. This means that IP addresses are processed in a shortened form, making personal identification impossible. If the data collected about you can be linked to a person, this will be immediately excluded and the personal data will be promptly deleted.

Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities, and to provide further services related to website usage and internet usage to the website operator.

Google Analytics uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a server of Google in the USA and stored there. You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting the settings of your browser software; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the features of this website to their full extent. Furthermore, you can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: Deactivate Google Analytics.

Additionally, you can also prevent the use of Google Analytics by clicking on this link: Deactivate Google Analytics. This will store a so-called opt-out cookie on your device, which prevents the processing of personal data by Google Analytics. Please note that if you delete all cookies on your device, these opt-out cookies will also be deleted, meaning that you will have to set the opt-out cookies again if you wish to continue preventing this form of data collection. The opt-out cookies are set per browser and computer/device and must therefore be activated separately for each browser, computer, or other device.

Privacy Policy for Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense on this website. This is an advertising programme from Google Inc. In Europe, the company Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street Dublin 4, Ireland) is responsible for all Google services. With Google AdSense, we can display advertisements on this website that are relevant to our topic.

Google AdSense uses cookies to serve relevant ads to users, improve campaign performance reports, or to prevent a user from seeing the same ads multiple times. Through a cookie ID, Google tracks which ads are displayed in which browser and can thus prevent them from being shown multiple times. Furthermore, Google AdSense can use cookie IDs to track so-called conversions related to ad requests. This is the case, for example, when a user sees a Google Ads ad and later visits the advertiser's website using the same browser and makes a purchase there. According to Google, Google Ads cookies do not contain any personal information.

Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with Google's server. By integrating Google Ads, Google receives the information that you have accessed the relevant part of our online presence or clicked on an ad from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can associate the visit with your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, there is a possibility that Google will learn and store your IP address.

You can prevent participation in this tracking procedure in various ways:

  1. by adjusting your browser software accordingly, in particular, suppressing third-party cookies means that you will not receive ads from third parties;
  2. by disabling cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain «www.googleadservices.com», https://adssettings.google.com, whereby this setting is deleted when you delete your cookies;
  3. by disabling interest-based ads from providers that are part of the self-regulatory campaign «About Ads» via the link https://www.aboutads.info/choices, whereby this setting is deleted when you delete your cookies;
  4. by permanently disabling in your browsers Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome via the link https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. We would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the features of this offer to the full extent.

The legal basis for processing your data is a balancing of interests, according to which there are no overriding contrary interests on your part against the processing of your personal data described above (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR). Further information on Google Ads from Google can be found at https://ads.google.com/intl/de_DE/home/, as well as general information on data protection at Google: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. Alternatively, you can visit the website of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) at https://www.networkadvertising.org .

Privacy policy for the use of Google Web Fonts

This website uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform representation of fonts. Google Tag Manager is a solution that allows us to manage so-called website tags through an interface, enabling us to integrate Google Analytics and other Google marketing services into our online offerings. The Tag Manager itself, which implements the tags, does not process any personal data of users. With regard to the processing of users' personal data, please refer to the following information on Google services. Usage policies: https://www.google.com/intl/de/tagmanager/use-policy.html.
