Excessive noise from the engine or fuel pump can be transmitted into the cab via the foot throttle cable because there is no insulation insert between the inner and outer cables.
To prevent noise transmission, a new cable with a Teflon insert has been released in production from serial number ACP277377.
For units before serial number ACP277377, install the latest cable to eliminate the noise.
NOTE: A new hand throttle cable has also been released into production which also has the Teflon insert. In some cases, the hand throttle cable may also require modification.
