CONCERNS: NOISES OF THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM AND PROBLEMS
STEERING IN COLD CLIMATIC CONDITIONS
DESCRIPTION:
In ambient temperatures below +5° C, the steering system may not function and the hydraulics may move noisily and slowly after a cold start. The transmission oil must be warm before the steering and hydraulic systems will operate normally.
At low ambient temperatures, the current transmission oil/hydraulic oil intake filter may affect the oil flow of the hydraulic pumps.

A new suction filter 84248043 with improved flow rate at low ambient temperatures is now available.
The new filter element is made of glass fibre. The original filter element is made of paper.
With the glass fibre element, the possible filter flow rate at low temperatures is much higher.
Use of the new suction filter, part number 84248043, is strongly recommended in the following circumstances:
- If a tractor is operated exclusively or possibly at ambient temperatures below +5° C.
- If steering or hydraulic problems occur or are reported after a cold start.
For tractors that are not operated in temperatures below +5° C, the original filter, part number 82005016, can still be used.
Ensure that the correct type of oil for the ambient temperatures is used.
