Expansion vessel with sensor

The engine coolant level sensor is no longer installed in the coolant expansion tank.
Failure of the coolant level sensor may cause the "Low coolant level" warning light to illuminate even though the coolant level is correct.
The coolant level sensor was never available as a separate spare part. A new reservoir had to be installed: 82019583

PRODUCTION: Applies from serial number: EKP007997 onwards.
A new coolant expansion tank without preparation for a coolant level sensor was introduced into production.
The wiring harness will be modified shortly to remove the connection for the coolant level sensor. In current production, the connection for the coolant level sensor remains on the wiring harness but is not connected.
For machines before the affected serial numbers:
If the coolant level sensor fails, it is recommended to unplug the sensor.
If coolant leaks from the coolant level sensor or reservoir, it is recommended to install the latest coolant expansion reservoir 82019588.
The engine coolant level must now be visually checked daily by the driver.

It is recommended that customers and drivers be made aware of this.
