    Incorrect assembly of the clutch release springs can be responsible for the forward or reverse clutch dragging.

    From serial number:1301605 onwards, the fault-free assembly of the clutch release spring is guaranteed in production.
    On models with a servo reversing gearbox, symptoms of clutch rubbing can only be determined when a gear and group are engaged and the clutch pedal is fully depressed.
    When repairing or fitting a forward or reverse clutch unit, fit the clutch release springs as follows:

    Before fitting the "corrugated" separator springs, hold the springs together so that the corrugations are correctly aligned and the gaps in the springs are all aligned exactly the same.
