Clutch disc 87716700 is not marked 'flywheel side' as some other clutch discs are. To install the disc properly, examine the disc hub and ensure that the hub is offset from the centre line when looking at the disc from the side. The side of the hub that sticks out further from the disc faces the engine, while the side that sticks out less faces the gearbox.

NOTE: If the disc is accidentally installed the wrong way round, the clutch cable must be adjusted to the end from the adjustment threads and the tractor will crawl with the transmission in gear and the clutch pedal fully depressed. With the clutch disc properly installed, there is approximately 6 mm clearance between the actuating levers and the clutch disc hub. The clutch is fully released with 4.5mm movement of the actuating lever.
