Reverse gear touches the gearbox clutch housing
Noise is heard when shifting from forward to reverse
This information applies only to models with the following equipment:
Dual Command transmission and creeper
Dual speed powershift transmission and creeper gear
The intermediate reverse gear contacts the transmission clutch housing, causing damage to the reverse gear.
To improve durability and reliability, two adjustments were made:
The latest axle pin of the intermediate reverse gear has been lengthened.
An additional washer has been introduced between the intermediate reverse gear axle pin and the reverse gear.
If faults are found in the intermediate reverse gear and the transmission clutch housing, install the latest parts.
If the transmission oil is contaminated with metal chips because the reverse gear is damaged, flush the transmission thoroughly and refill with new oil to the recommended level.
Intermediate reverse gear
Newly introduced spacer washer, part number 87736051, placed between reverse gear and thrust bearing axle pin top.
New extended reverse gear axle pin, part number 87736049.
New introduced spacer washer, part number 87736051.
