    Product information:

    Hard steering with front loader application

    Steering does not turn OR there is hard steering when using the front loader (FL) with 750 kg load.

    Insufficient pressure for loader applications.

    This knowledge base article provides a solution for hard steering only with a front loader usage problem.

    Production solution:

    1) Steering valve replaced with 170 bar (part number: 84175177) instead of 125 bar.
    2) New steering cylinder (part number: 51681772) was implemented.

    Serial numbers changed for NAFTA: CIH: ELRFA75AVKAY01621, NH: ELRT4S75AKAX03302.
    For EUROPE modified serial numbers: CIH: ELRFA65ACLAY00769, NH: ELRT4S75LLAX01335.

    Field solution:

    There are two possibilities:

    If the unit has an "Ognibene" steering cylinder and the steering valve needs to be replaced, the steering cylinder must be replaced to use "Hidrolift".

    If the unit has a "Hidrolift" steering cylinder, detection (HLF) it can only be replaced with a 170 bar steering valve to continue working.

    Note: Do not perform the above actions if there is any other problem with the use of the steering.
