Download software ZA_03_00_00_00 into the instrument cluster (T4000/Quantum/Compact)
Symptom:
Fuel gauge / fuel level not displayed correctly
A software problem in the instrument cluster can cause the fuel gauge to show an incorrect amount of fuel in the tank, especially if an auxiliary fuel tank is installed in the tractor.
The new software ZA_03_00_00_00.hx1 has been released and with it the fuel tanks installed in the tractor can be configured in menu H3 to recognise the correct amount of fuel available.
The software is valid for all Specialty and Utility tractors.
The new ZA software is factory installed in the following new instrument clusters:

The new instrument clusters have been exported to production from the serial numbers listed below:

Repair solution:
Check the fuel sender (part number 87585652-3), see the workshop manual.
Install the new ZA software, available on the electronic maintenance tool version 6.4 (March 2011).
Open the HH menu.
Open the H3 menu.
Select the tanks that are installed on the tractor (front/rear tank volume).
