Version without front axle brake
It is possible that the retaining bolts for the ring gear carrier on the front axle of the all-wheel drive (4WD) may come loose. If these screws come loose, oil may leak from the area of the hub seal on the planetary gearbox housing. Oil leaks from the bearings of the planetary reduction gear housing due to the reduced bearing preload. Screws can come loose and cause mechanical failure of the planetary gears in the planetary reduction gear housing.
To solve this problem, NEW HOLLAND has introduced a new one-piece locking plate 47983461 with 6 new bolts 47797649 instead of the six individual washers, which exerts a more even clamping force.
Together with the new one-piece locking plate 47983461 NEW HOL-LAND also changed the steering knuckle 47875022 right 47875023 left the ring gear carrier (47875483 (6 holes17mm)) because the outer diameter of the hollow bushes was increased from 16 mm to 17 mm to ensure a more precise fit of the parts.
