High-strength threadlocker green for securing threads, suitable for all metals. Breakaway torque 35Nm. Equivalent to Loctite 270
Application
LOXEAL threadlocker 83-54 for securing and fastening screws, nuts, stud bolts up to M20, which normally do not need to be loosened. Prevents fretting corrosion and seizure. LOXEAL screw locks maintain the pretension. Even lightly oiled screws are permanently and reliably secured. However, the breakaway strength is reduced.
Properties
Suitable for highly vibrating bolted joints. Resistant to gas, oil, hydrocarbons and many chemicals. Also suitable for stainless steel. However, curing is delayed due to the low proportion of copper ions. For faster curing, we recommend the use of an activator (Loxeal 11). Not suitable for plastic fittings.
Processing
Clean and degrease parts. Always apply threadlocker to the external thread only. Removal is possible by heating to approx. +150 °C.
