Product information:

Potential problems:
Engine stops when PTO is engaged with high torque attachment mounted.
Hard PTO engagement
PTO is disengaged unexpectedly
The ball valve [part number 20419310 (replaced by part number 86642304)] located in the PTO inner support oil guide (part number 87359688) is not installed.
The missing ball valve prevents soft engagement of the PTO.
Therefore, the PTO is engaged excessively hard, causing either the engine to stall or the PTO clutch to disengage.
The symptom cannot be detected by performing system pressure tests.
Check if the following conditions / symptoms are applicable:
1. check that the PTO is operating normally without an attachment attached or with an attachment at a low initial torque.
2. with attachment attached at medium/high initial torque and PTO engaged, check that engine stops when engine speed is less than 1200 rpm and PTO is disengaged when engine speed is 1500 rpm or higher.
3. test with and without activation of the PTO soft start function (if provided).
Depending on the required PTO load of the attachment, both symptoms may occur with both the PTO soft start function activated and not activated.
If the PTO shuts down or the engine stalls with these described symptoms, check the PTO support to make sure the ball is installed.
If the ball is missing, install a new ball (part number 86642304).
Troubleshooting the electrohydraulic PTO shaft
Symptoms:
Slippage of the PTO clutch
PTO shaft is difficult to engage or disengage.
PTO shaft cannot be engaged.
If the rear PTO shaft cannot be engaged with an applied load, carry out the following checks:
Install a pressure gauge on the PTO supply connection and make sure that the correct system pressure of 16 bar is present.
If the correct system pressure is not present, troubleshoot the low pressure side of the hydraulic system.
If the correct system pressure is present, there may be a problem with the lubricating oil control valve on the rear PTO housing support 87359688.
Ensure that the check ball part number 20419310 and O-ring part number 14437685 are correctly positioned.
If the O-ring is moved into the drilled passage, the check ball will not have a sealing effect and the lubricating oil control valve part number 5194481 will not be displaced and therefore block the pressure to the clutch piston.
Ensure that the lubricating oil control valve and the pressure spring part number 5166012 are fitted correctly.
Ensure that the throttle valve 5189186 is fully screwed into the support.
