Download software ZA_03_00_00_00 into the instrument cluster (T4000/Quantum/Compact)
Symptom:
Fuel gauge / fuel level not displayed correctly
A software problem in the instrument cluster can cause the fuel gauge to show an incorrect amount of fuel in the tank, especially if an auxiliary fuel tank is installed in the tractor.
The new software ZA_03_00_00_00.hx1 has been released and with it the fuel tanks installed in the tractor can be configured in menu H3 to recognise the correct amount of fuel available.
The software is valid for all Specialty and Utility tractors.
The new ZA software is factory installed in the following new instrument clusters:

Repair solution:
Check the fuel sender (part number 87585652-3), see the workshop manual.
Install the new ZA software, available on the electronic maintenance tool version 6.4 (March 2011).
Open the HH menu.
Open the H3 menu.
Select the tanks that are installed on the tractor (front/rear tank volume).

Symptom
ADIC error code 14203 is displayed
Solution
See attached Service Bulletin 1208-T3 for additional information.
Display of error code 14203 on the analogue and digital instrument panel (ADIC, part number 84126759) of a T4000, T4000F, T4000V, or T4000N series tractor is the result of a software error in the ZA control unit (ADIC) software.
The 14203 fault code indicates that there is a 'Speed and Steering DT (All Wheel Drive) Exclusion Relay Short Circuit to VCC or Circuit Open'.
This fault code is only used on T4000V tractors equipped with the electro-hydraulic four-wheel drive option.
The latest Y software improves the functionality of the ADIC by eliminating the possible false fault code on all T4000 variants, except the T4000V equipped with the electro-hydraulic four-wheel drive option, which will display this fault code if there is an actual problem.
Download the software into the ZA control unit of ALL T4000 variants (including T4000V models equipped with the electro-hydraulic four-wheel drive option) to correct this problem.
Use the Electronic Service Tool (EST) to download the latest AIC software into the ZA control unit.
