    Installing the rear seal of the engine crankshaft (F5A/F5C)

    Oil leakage from the rear crankshaft cassette seal
    The rear crankshaft seal (part number 504014232) on the F5C and F5A engine must be installed with correct orientation to prevent oil leakage.
    Use the special tool (part number 1079668) to install the cassette seal. Caution: Installation without the special tool will result in 100% failure ! Install the seal with the brown rubber coating and the blue dust shield lip facing the outside of the engine.

    Oil vapour recirculation system filter may ice up, causing engine breather to
    engine ventilation inactive.
    Consequential damage is possible: Defective shaft sealing rings, oil in the turbo, etc.
    Recommendation : Install engine ventilation valve 504382162 in the valve cover , and replace new breather filter 5801686484.
    Also check the cover 5801542914 which is partially damaged by the engine paint. the 2mm breather hole is blocked and unblock it.
