    Product information:

To improve durability at low temperatures, the piston (5149453) was replaced with a new piston (87590454) and new cold-resistant sealing ring (87590455).

Note: Brake pressure boxes have different connection holes for connection to the brake manifold.
(In installed condition pressure box screw connection at the rear )
87612052 Direction of travel right mounted Connection to brake distributor top outside
87612053 Direction of travel left mounted Connection to brake distributor top outside
87612485 Direction of travel right mounted Connection to brake distributor at the bottom outside (version with trailer brake valve)

    Bleeding the brake system
Depress the left brake pedal fully to pressurise the brake oil.
Keep the pedal depressed and open the banjo bolt under the right brake pressure reservoir slightly and allow the oil/air mixture to flow out.
Tighten the banjo bolt again and only then release the brake pedal.
Repeat this procedure until bubble-free oil comes out.
Repeat this procedure on the right brake pedal (bleeding at the same banjo bolt).
Now bleed the brake distributor (under the brake oil tank).
Connect the left brake pedal to the front and the right brake pedal to the rear.
    Lock the brake pedals mechanically.
    Bleed the brake caliper.
In some cases it may be necessary to detach the brake caliper from the brake calliper and hold the bleed screw at the highest point and bleed in this position.
(To remove any air bubbles in the caliper which cannot be removed with the caliper in place).

    Function:
When the pedal is at rest at the top, the brake pressure box must not have any tension on the linkage (adjustment via eyebolt).
The lower compensating line connection must be tight when not in use. CNH has installed steel balls of different sizes to compensate for the tolerances.
The inlet valve at the top to the expansion tank must be open when not in use and closed when the brake is applied!
Caution: Install this valve only when the brake piston has been actuated a few mm inside, otherwise this valve will be damaged.
Example: If oil is pressed into the reservoir through the transparent line of the right brake pressure reservoir when venting the left brake pedal, the right inlet valve of the brake pressure reservoir is defective or not fitted with the correct ball from the factory.
