Potentiometer 4000 Ohm

EQUIPPED WITH ELECTRONIC LINKAGE CONTROL (EHR) - ONLY WITH CLOSED HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

On machines with a closed hydraulic system, the arm of the EHR linkage potentiometer has been modified to eliminate lateral loads on the potentiometer.
The mounting bolts of the potentiometer have been replaced. The thread locking agent used during assembly may get into the track of the potentiometer and thus block the moving parts.
Lateral load or blocking of the potentiometer may cause faulty hoist (power lift) indication.

Faulty linkage position indication may cause the following problems:
- The EHR/power lift does not work.

A new potentiometer arm and mounting bolts have been introduced into production from the following serial numbers:

T6000 series: Z8BD04886 Z8BK00001

The dimensions of the arm have been changed to increase the clearance between the arm shaft and the potentiometer. This prevents any side loads on the potentiometer.
The new mounting screws now have Loctite threadlocker applied during production. This eliminates the need to apply liquid threadlocker during assembly.

For machines before the affected serial numbers:
If the linkage position is incorrectly indicated, it is recommended that the new potentiometer arm and mounting bolts are fitted. Care must be taken to ensure that the potentiometer is not damaged and can rotate freely if necessary.
Tighten the fastening screws of the potentiometer with a tightening torque of 1.5 - 2 Nm.

The previous parts can be replaced by the new parts without any problems.
