DESCRIPTION:
Switches have been introduced with new contacts that have greater durability.

PROCEDURE:

PRODUCTION: The improved external switches have been introduced into production with serial no:
156771B introduced into production.

SERVICE:
Workshop manual: Section 35
It is recommended to replace defective switches only with parts of the
current production status.

NOTE:
When fitting the rear light glass cover, ensure that the foam sealing ring
ensure that the foam sealing ring around the two pins on the top and bottom
the upper and lower edges of the rear light housing to prevent
edge of the combination rearlight housing to prevent condensation in the
water from entering the light.
AFFECTED PARTS: The old 81863762 and the new 82020694 switch are fully replaceable.
