The stroke control spool valve in the control valve of the EDC has been
revised to eliminate pressure build-up in the EDC hydraulic circuit.
Symptoms:
If pressure begins to build and increase between the EDC control valve and the hydraulic pump, the engine will be stressed and engine speed may be reduced by up to 50 rpm. In addition, this process can cause the hydraulic oil to overheat.
The EDC control valve with the revised lift valve was introduced into production from serial number: 1267604.
The lift valve has been modified so that internal leaks are better diverted into the oil sump.
In the event that the above symptoms are reported or observed on a machine manufactured prior to the introduction of the change, it is recommended that the user
it is recommended that the pressure in the hydraulic pump supply line be checked with all hydraulic controls in neutral.

SERVICE INFORMATION:
Cause of pressure build-up If internal leaks occur at the check valve,
pressure can build up in the steel line to the lift valve, which then causes the check valve to
partially block the pump oil flow to the tank. Between the check valve and the hydraulic pump
