Heating control valve

Air conditioner does not cool due to incorrectly connected heater coolant lines.
The cabin heater control valve does not shut off completely.
Solution
CNH knows that the coolant and return lines may be installed the wrong way around on an unknown number of machines. The heater ball valve (part number 82008282) is only functioning properly in one direction of coolant flow. If the coolant and return lines are reversed either at the engine or at the heater heat exchanger, the valve will not completely stop the flow of water even when set to closed. This can make the efficiency of the air conditioner appear poor, even if the pressures are correct.

To determine if the valve and hoses are routed correctly, compare the coolant flow direction with the attached wiring diagram. If the flow direction is not correct, swap the hoses so that the flow direction corresponds to the direction arrows on the attached printout.
