CONCERNS: FAILURE OF THE ALL-WHEEL CLUTCH
Failure of the drive flanges on the output gear and the clutch sleeve for engaging the all-wheel drive clutch
of the all-wheel drive clutch on models with all-wheel drive can be caused by one of the following reasons.
1. at higher loads, the clutch sleeve can be pushed out of the fully engaged position
position and the contact surface is reduced during engagement. This leads to
damage to the output gear and the drive flanges of the coupling sleeves.
2. when applying the brakes in an emergency when travelling at high speed on the road,
the sliding sleeves can be damaged due to the high speed and the time required for the
time required to fully engage the clutch.
This reduces the contact surface when engaging and leads to damage to the output gear
damage to the output gear and the drive flanges of the coupling sleeve.
In order to increase durability and reliability, the clutch engagement spring and the opening in the oil
opening in the oil transfer ring have been modified
The new clutch engagement spring (5171681) and the oil transfer ring (87685158) were introduced into production from the
the following serial numbers.
TNA , TNDA, TNSA series: HJE098009
TNNA, TNVA series: HJB098102
TNFA series: HJU097994
The new spring (5171681) is stronger and exerts greater pressure when engaged.
The engagement of the
clutch is also improved.
The opening in the oil transfer ring (87685158) has been enlarged to 8 mm (previously 6 mm). This restricts the
oil flow rate from the piston.
If the output gear (84284808/84284804) and the clutch sleeve (5182436) for engaging the clutch on all-wheel drive models
models with four-wheel drive, it is recommended that the latest engagement spring and the latest oil
oil transfer ring and replace the output gear and clutch sleeve.
Attention TN75F has 84284804 installed
Screeching noise in all forward and reverse gears, similar to when engaging the all-wheel drive.
The noise increases when the machine is travelling above 10 km/h.
If the above problem is displayed and the unit has a serial number prior to ZAJD13531:
Replace the four-wheel drive output gear with the latest levelling gear, which is more reliable and durable than the previous part.
Note: The centre/high gear retains the same part number.
