The steering angle functions of the automatic all-wheel drive do not work

Error code 41 - Steering angle status switch faulty or wiring problem
Error code 42 - Steering angle status switch faulty or wiring problem

Solution
Possible malfunction of the steering angle sensor due to oxidation and thus blocking of the actuating pin 87350561

The actuating pin that activates the steering angle status switch may be jammed or stuck. This will cause either error code 41 or 42 to be displayed.

The tolerance of the steering angle status switch support (part number 5180373) has been improved to allow unrestricted movement of the actuating pin (part number 87350561).

Action:
In the event of a steering angle status switch failure, it is recommended that the new switch be fitted as a spare part. It is also recommended to clean the steering angle status switch and apply grease (AMBRA GR9) to the steering angle status switch and actuating pin when reassembling.
