Sealing ring all-wheel brake cylinder 40.95x52.06x4.20mm

To improve durability, especially in cold ambient temperatures, the master cylinder piston and seal have been modified. The new piston and quad ring seal were introduced for Service Parts to improve the internal seal and prevent oil from flowing past the seal during operation. There is now only one master cylinder assembly that can be fitted to both the right and left brakes of the tractor. The piston and quad ring seal have been released as individual replacement parts to allow the original master cylinder assemblies to be updated.



In the event of problems with a master brake cylinder or when servicing a master brake cylinder, it is recommended that a new flat piston 87612053 and quad ring seal 87590455 are fitted. Alternatively, or if the original master cylinder is beyond economical repair, fit a new complete master cylinder. Additional information: When installing the master brake cylinder on the right side of the tractor on units with hydraulic trailer brakes, it is recommended that the hoses and fittings be connected to the cylinder assembly before it is installed in the brake linkage. This is advisable as access is restricted when the master cylinder assembly is in position
