CONCERN: TORQUE DAMPER RATTLES
DESCRIPTION:
On machines with four-cylinder engines, a chattering noise may occur in the torque damper
especially when releasing the clutch pedal slowly or when driving off with heavy implements/trailers.

A new torque damper and flywheel have been introduced.

PRODUCTION:
A new torque damper was introduced into production from serial number Z7BD06087. production.
The new 800 Nm torque damper has 3 fingers (the previous torque damper had 4 fingers)
and is bolted directly to the new flywheel with attachments.
The new one-piece flywheel allows the new torque damper to be installed.

For machines before the affected serial number:
The new torque damper and flywheel can be obtained from the spare parts logistics if necessary. if necessary.
When installing the new torque damper/flywheel into a tractor to eliminate the
noise, the software version DS 2.5.0.0 or higher must be installed in the transmission
electronics box.
Install the new flywheel and tighten the bolts evenly in two stages as follows:
Stage 1: Tighten to a torque of 30 Nm +/- 3 Nm.
Stage 2: Use an angled torque spanner and tighten the bolts to 60 Nm +/- 5 Nm.
tighten the bolts to 60 Nm +/- 5 Nm.
Install the new torque damper, applying Loctite 270 to the new bolts.
Tighten the torque damper bolts to a torque of 95 Nm.
Note: The new torque damper with 3 sensors and flywheel can NOT be installed in the TSA series tractors. The software is NOT compatible
(Auto-Shift and Power Boost will not work).
PARTS AFFECTED:
The new individual spare parts are not interchangeable. The complete set of new parts must be ordered.
